Kylie’s viral success began with her “Thursday deep cleaning vlogs,” a niche that resonated with her growing audience. By March 2024, with 69K followers, Kylie made the decision to go all-in on social media, dedicating herself fully to her passion for creating and sharing content.

How did you get started with social media? Was it a goal of yours or on a whim, and which platform?
I got started on social media once I became a stay at home mom — I wasn’t too serious at first, I just had the platform for fun!
Once I really developed a love and passion for content creating and realized this is something I would enjoy doing full time, I went for it and blossomed!
What were you doing (or where were you in life) before you started on social media?
A full-time SAHM.

Who were some of the creators or influencers you looked up to when you first started posting on social media?
Was there a specific piece of content or instance in which you went viral or was it a slower build up over time? How did you feel and what did you do afterwards?
Thursday deep cleaning vlogs is what continued to go viral, and it took off from there!
At what point did you decide to go “all-in” on social media? What were the factors that made you decide to pursue content creation full-time? Did you have a back-up plan?
March 4 of 2024 — I had 69k followers — and knew I could really transform my platform, so that’s exactly what I did!
There really was no back up plan, because I was going to push myself until I made it!
Every creator’s creation process is different. Take us through how you typically create content? Do you have a set process or how much of it is on the fly?
I wake up and usually have no clue what I’m going to film that day, but once I get into the swing of things, content ideas start flowing!
If you could go back to when you started your journey as a creator and give yourself two pieces of advice, things to keep in mind, or things you’ve learned — what would you say to yourself?
Be consistent, and never let anyone’s negative opinions discourage you from doing what you love!
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve gotten for being a creator?
Don’t let it take away time from your everyday life.

My manager, May Solomon, has pushed me to broaden my platforms, pushed me to be more consistent on Instagram, and has helped me through every challenge I have had with social media!

Building a community of people on my side of this content world!

Communication — I feel as if communication is the key to everything.

What’s one thing in 2024 that brands should know about working with creators, but don’t?
It’s best if you let the influencer have freedom over the content!
Sales generate much better when the creator has freedom, and they know exactly what to say to their audience!
What are some of the biggest changes that have affected you personally?
Being recognized every time I go into public — I love it so much, though!
