Mastering Campaign Coordination: Martina Pini Shares Insights on Creativity, Strategy, and Building Authentic Creator Relationships
What specific skills or qualities do you believe are often overlooked but are essential for succeeding in a creator management role?
A strong organization is essential to juggle multiple campaigns and tasks without losing track of the details.
Creativity, especially when it comes to solving problems quickly and effectively, is also a must, because not everything goes according to plan.
Proactivity plays a big role too, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Assertive communication is key, not just with the brand but also with the creators — we’re often the bridge between both sides, so understanding each perspective is crucial.
Also, being able to manage several moving parts at once while staying grounded is what really helps everything flow!
What made you join the creator industry? Did you always know you wanted to be in it?
I’ve always been really drawn to social media and how it’s constantly evolving.
A while ago, I realized that communication was becoming the future, especially as brands started shifting the way they connect with audiences.
I noticed that many [brands] were losing credibility, and in a world where disconnection and manipulation often dominate, I felt there was a real need for more authenticity and human connection.
That’s when I became deeply interested in creator strategy, specifically how we can bring brands closer to people in a more genuine way. Working with creators felt like the perfect way to do that. They have the power to humanize messages and build real trust, and I knew I wanted to be part of that movement.
How has TSS changed your perspective on influencer marketing?
TSS completely shifted the way I see influencer marketing, especially when it comes to teamwork and the relationships we build with creators. I had never experienced an environment where creators truly feel like part of the family.
The level of care, support, and genuine connection we have with them goes far beyond what I imagined this industry could be <3 It’s not just about campaigns or deliverables, it’s about building trust, celebrating their individuality, and being there for them every step of the way.
That kind of dynamic makes the work so much more meaningful, and it’s shown me how powerful real collaboration can be when everyone feels supported and seen.
What made you choose to work at TSS, and what is your favorite part of your job?
What made me choose to work at The Sociable Society was the way they approach influencer marketing.
From the very first time I read about them, something felt different! It wasn’t just about strategy or success metrics. There was this recurring message about closeness, community, and genuine connection.
It didn’t feel like a traditional agency; it felt like a place where people matter.
Then I had my interviews, and everything I had read came to life. Speaking to people I had never met before (people from another country, even) felt oddly familiar, like chatting with old friends.
There was a warmth and authenticity that immediately stood out, and I knew right away that I wanted to be part of it.
That’s still my favorite part of the job: the people. The sense of belonging, of being seen and valued not just for what you do, but for who you are.
Work is work, but this feels like more than that. It’s a community I genuinely care about and feel proud to contribute to every day.
What is a unique skill you bring to your role?
Definitely creativity (and a bit of humor 😉). But more specifically, I’d say my creativity when it comes to taking action and solving problems.
I love thinking outside the box, especially in fast-paced situations where flexibility and quick thinking are key.
Whether it’s finding a fresh way to approach a campaign challenge or figuring out how to support a creator, I always try to bring a mix of logic, intuition, and creativity to the table, plus a positive attitude to keep things light, even when it gets intense.
What is your favorite TSS Team moment?
Honestly, any team meeting.
Every time we get to catch up, brainstorm, or even just chat for a few minutes, I feel more connected to everyone.
Being far away geographically can sometimes feel isolating, but those moments of conversation, even over a screen, make me feel part of something real. It’s the little day-to-day interactions that remind me why I love being part of this team.
How has TSS supported your personal or professional growth?
TSS has supported my growth in the most meaningful way: by trusting me from day one.
From the beginning, I was given not only the space to grow, but also the freedom to create — to bring ideas to life, take initiative, and truly make an impact. They don’t just give you responsibilities, they make you feel seen and valued every step of the way.
The motivation and recognition I’ve received here have pushed me to believe more in myself and keep evolving, both professionally and personally <3
What is your favorite TSS tradition… or any ideas for a new one 😉
Suggest a new one…? Say no more! A TSS meetup somewhere in the world!
If you could switch roles with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
I’d choose Carolin! I’ve always been curious about HR and the way she supports the team behind the scenes. She has such a warm and thoughtful presence, and I imagine her role gives her a unique perspective on how to keep a team feeling connected, valued, and well taken care of.
Plus, I’d love to understand more about how culture is nurtured and grown from the inside out.
What is your best secret talent?
Not sure it’s much of a secret, but I can sing! You might not hear it during meetings (unless we ever do karaoke lol), but it’s definitely one of my favorite talents.
That’s a wrap on this week’s Team Sociable Session with Martina Pini!
