Shaping Success Through Collaboration and Clarity: Insights From Stephanie Mejia

What made you join the creator industry? Did you always know you wanted to be in it?

While I didn’t initially know this would be my path, I’ve always been inspired by innovative ways to connect with and inspire others, which led me here naturally. The creator industry is dynamic and ever-evolving.

What key lessons have you learned while working at TSS?

At TSS, I’ve learned adaptability is crucial in a fast-paced environment, we are constantly challenged to remain flexible and think creatively. I’ve also discovered there is great power in collaboration, as working closely with diverse teams has been essential in driving success.

Biggest work pet peeve?

Emotional flare-ups, especially when they create a sense of urgency that disrupts focus and productivity. I value a calm, solution-oriented environment.

How has TSS changed your perspective on influencer marketing?

TSS has opened my eyes to the incredible power creators have in shaping consumer behavior and driving economic trends.

Describe your journey at TSS in one word and explain why.

Prism — because when I think I fully understand one aspect, it quickly shifts, revealing new angles and insights.

This constant evolution has kept my journey dynamic and challenged me to stay adaptable

What made you choose to work at TSS, and what is your favorite part of your job?

I chose to work at TSS because of its forward-thinking leadership, which truly values growth and innovation.

My favorite part of the job is the freedom it offers — not just in schedule flexibility, but in fostering an environment that promotes autonomy and trust in each team member.

What is a unique skill you bring to your role?

A unique skill I bring to my role is equanimity — the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

This allows me to approach challenges with clarity, make thoughtful decisions, and maintain a balanced perspective, even in high-stress situations.

Describe an ‘a-ha’ moment that has shaped your career.

An ‘a-ha’ moment that shaped my career was realizing that at several organizations, an influx of growth often leads to a dramatic shift in culture.

This made me understand the importance of staying proactive and aligning with the evolving culture, ensuring that I adapt and thrive as it develops.

What productivity hack do you rely on during the busy season?

Time blocking!!

How would you describe the TSS culture to someone considering joining?

I would describe the TSS culture as dynamic, engaging, and fast-paced. It’s an environment where change is constant.

What is the biggest misconception about influencer campaigns?

The biggest misconception about influencer campaigns is that the bigger the creator, the more impact the campaign will have.

In reality, engagement and alignment with the target audience are far more important than just the creator’s follower count, as authenticity and relevance drive stronger results

What advice would you give brands entering creator partnerships?

My advice to brands entering creator partnerships is to have clear expectations on your goals from the start.

What is your favorite TSS Team moment?

Playing water bumper cars in Anaheim!

How has TSS supported your personal or professional growth?

TSS has been a strong supporter of my professional growth by providing resources needed for me to evolve. TSS has also remained flexible as my personal life priorities shift, allowing me to maintain a balance while continuing to thrive in my role
