Introducing Mary Sergi: From Cheerleader to Full-Time Content Creator
This week, we’re thrilled to feature Mary Sergi (@maryflys on Instagram, @marysergi7 on TikTok, and @marysergi3433 on YouTube), a content creator whose passion for creating has been evident from a young age.
Before her social media career took off, Mary was a competitive cheerleader, which sparked her love for filming, editing, and sharing videos. Whether it was cheerleading routines, dance videos, or vlogs about her everyday life, Mary built her online presence through consistent, authentic content.

Her journey truly took off the summer before her freshman year of college when she decided to go “all-in” on social media, joining The Sociable Society. With support from her manager and the TSS team, Mary has worked with brands like VS Pink and White Fox Boutique and continued to grow her influence across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
Join us as we dive into Mary’s story, discussing her growth as a creator, her most memorable moments, and what she’s looking forward to in the future.

I loved creating cheer videos and vlogs growing up!
It became a passion to film everything and edit videos. I love sharing content and inspiring others!
What were you doing (or where were you in life) before you started on social media?
I was a competitive cheerleader training.
Who were some of the creators or influencers you looked up to when you first started posting on social media?
Was there a specific piece of content or instance in which you went viral or was it a slower build up over time? How did you feel and what did you do afterwards?
It was slower build up over time with my cheer videos, dancing TikToks, and YouTube vlogs.
At what point did you decide to go “all-in” on social media? What were the factors that made you decide to pursue content creation full-time? Did you have a back-up plan?
I decided to go “all-in” the summer going into my Freshman year of College.

That’s when I joined The Sociable Society management!
Every creator’s creation process is different. Take us through how you typically create content? Do you have a set process or how much of it is on the fly?
I try to be as creative and authentic when it comes to creating my content.
I love making morning routines and dance videos on TikTok. I also love taking pictures in outfits when I go out with my friends. On YouTube, I love filming throughout the day and sharing my everyday life activities.
If you could go back to when you started your journey as a creator and give yourself two pieces of advice, things to keep in mind, or things you’ve learned — what would you say to yourself?
