From Pandemic Running Vlogs to a Thriving Creator Career, Meet Bre Socker

At The Sociable Society, we celebrate creators who embody authenticity, determination, and a deep passion for their craft. This week, we’re thrilled to spotlight Brianna “Bre” Socker (@bresocker on Instagram, @brenotbri_ on TikTok), a fitness-focused creator whose journey from casual running vlogs to full-time content creation is as inspiring as it is empowering.

Bre Socker Profile

Bre’s social media story began during the pandemic when gym closures inspired her to embrace running. To make the experience enjoyable, she started vlogging her runs on TikTok — a move that not only kept her accountable but also captivated an audience. From these beginnings, Bre has expanded her platform to share glimpses of her gym routine, daily life, and everything in between.

A former ninth and tenth-grade special education teacher, Bre transitioned from the classroom to the creator world with the same drive and purpose that guided her teaching career. Today, she combines her love of fitness and content creation with a fresh approach, producing gym-centric content and spontaneous vlogs that resonate with her audience.

In our interview, Bre opens up about her creative process, the invaluable support she’s found through The Sociable Society, and her most memorable milestones — like partnering with Gymshark and MyProtein. She also shares her predictions for the future of social media, her upcoming fitness app, and her journey of self-discovery after moving across state lines.

Join us as we dive into Bre’s story, her partnership with The Sociable Society, and her thoughts on staying authentic in an evolving digital landscape. Her journey is a powerful reminder that by staying true to yourself, you can inspire others and achieve incredible heights.

Bre Socker on Embracing Authenticity, Fitness, and Finding Balance:

How did you get started with social media? Was it a goal of yours or on a whim, and which platform?

I started on TikTok just by accident.

During COVID, it was hard for me to have all the gyms be closed. So I decided I was going to make myself love running as much as I loved lifting.

To do this, I had to make running enjoyable, so I decided to vlog my runs to entertain myself while also making it a way to stay accountable.

They started to blow up and from there, I just started sharing more about my life.

What were you doing (or where were you in life) before you started on social media?

I was a full time college student!

When I graduated, I took a position teaching 9th and 10th grade special education before working with The Sociable Society (TSS)!

Who were some of the creators or influencers you looked up to when you first started posting on social media?

@KK_FIT_

Was there a specific piece of content or instance in which you went viral or was it a slower build up over time? How did you feel and what did you do afterwards?

My running vlogs and my nail transitions.

I honestly didn’t think much of it at the time and was just enjoying creating. I never thought it would turn into all of this.

At what point did you decide to go “all-in” on social media? What were the factors that made you decide to pursue content creation full-time? Did you have a back-up plan?

When I resigned from my teaching job to go back to school and get my masters, I knew it was the perfect time to focus on growing my social media platforms.

A few months later, TSS reached out to me and from there I knew I had an opportunity to go “all-in”.

Every creator’s creation process is different. Take us through how you typically create content? Do you have a set process or how much of it is on the fly?

A lot of my content is gym-based, so it is just part of my routine to record at the gym.

I try to film WIEIAD on a rest day as well as a training day twice a week to show the difference in how working out ”impacts” my schedule but I make the time for it.

A lot of everything else is on the fly unless I am plotting a video idea in my head (randomly) and then execute that vision.

If you could go back to when you started your journey as a creator and give yourself two pieces of advice, things to keep in mind, or things you’ve learned — what would you say to yourself?

1) Keep posting and 2) ignore the outside noise because the only person who needs to believe in you, IS YOU!

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve gotten for being a creator?

Don’t do what everyone else is doing because then you blend in. By doing what feels right for you and just being yourself, you will stand out.

Is there a piece of content or story you’ve shared that is most memorable to you? Why is it meaningful?

The video I created of “what life will be like after sports” holds a special place in my heart because having field hockey end was not easy (as it isn’t for most athletes).

But seeing how I am able to still keep my competitiveness and my athleticism since graduating is all “younger me” could ask for and makes me feel proud of what I have been able to accomplish because of who sports made me.

How did you hear about or get connected with The Sociable Society? In what ways have TSS helped you pursue your goals and aspirations?

Sarah reached out to me!

TSS has completely changed my life. They saw and believed in my potential and have brought opportunities my way that I never knew possible.

Not only work related, but they genuinely care for their clients and the community they have created is another reason I love working with TSS.

What’s been your biggest “win” with The Sociable Society?

Working with Gymshark and MyProtein !!

Bre Socker Gymshark

What do you value most in a Creator Manager?

Someone who holds me accountable while still being able to manage a personal relationship.

Sarah is just an amazing human being and I respect her so much when it comes to being my manager but also know I could lean on her for anything personal going on in my life.

To date, what has been your favorite or most memorable brand partnership? Tell us why?

Gymshark!

My love and passion for fitness and bodybuilding stemmed from discovering Gymshark and their athletes, so to actually BE ONE is so full circle and I still am in disbelief at times.

What’s one thing in 2024 that brands should know about working with creators, but don’t?

You chose to work with us because you like our content — so let us create for you!

Consumers can tell when an “ad” is scripted vs. something the influencer thought of on their own.

Too many tweaks and edits I find can be very noticeable.

Since you started, how has the social media and/or creator space changed?

I think TikTok specifically has become more of a “perfect” space like Instagram.

There are less “raw” videos that mimic the iconic vibe era and more perfectionism in videos which I think defeats the purpose of the app.

Bring back 1 min videos as the max… this isn’t YouTube !

What are some of the biggest changes that have affected you personally?

I recently moved across state away from family which was uncomfortable at first but ended up being one of the best things I could have done for me!

I felt like I was out growing my hometown and needed to be somewhere , where people were chasing dreams rather than being complacent.

What are some trends of shifts you did not expect coming?

Landscape videos making a comeback!

What’s one prediction you have for social media and being a creator in 2025?

There is going to be a new app that takes off similar to how TikTok did.

Any projects, news, or exciting details/sneak peaks you’d want to share?

I recently dropped my 5th merch collection which is super exciting!

I also have a fitness app dropping the last week of 2024 which is a dream come true so stay tuned !!:)

Any special shoutouts, mentions, thank you’s or anything else you’d want to share?

Sarah Halper!!!!

She is the woman behind all of the greatness and I know I owe so much of my success to her!!

I also want to thank my parents for allowing me to take an unconventional path and chase my dreams.
