What made you join the creator industry? Did you always know you wanted to be in it?
I got into the creator industry for the unique legal challenges at the intersection of tech, media, and IP.
The digital world moves fast, and strong legal frameworks help protect creators, brands, and platforms.
My passion for tech law and negotiations led me here, where I get to help creators navigate contracts, IP rights, and brand deals for long-term success
What specific skills or qualities do you believe are often overlooked but are essential for succeeding in your role?
Attention to detail and strategic thinking are essential but often overlooked in my role. Negotiating contracts isn’t just about legal compliance — it’s about anticipating risks, protecting long-term interests, and ensuring fairness.
Adaptability is also key, as the digital landscape is always evolving. Plus, strong communication and relationship-building skills help educate creators and brands, fostering trust and long-term success
What challenges have you faced when transitioning into or starting in the creator industry, and how did you overcome them?
One of the biggest challenges was adapting traditional legal frameworks to the fast-paced, ever-evolving creator industry. Contracts needed to balance legal protections with the flexibility creators require.
To overcome this, I immersed myself in industry trends, refined contract structures to fit digital partnerships, and focused on clear, strategic communication to bridge the gap between legal requirements and creative freedom.
What made you choose to work at TSS, and what is your favorite part of your job?
I joined TSS for its innovation in the creator industry and the opportunity to work with a team that genuinely supports creators.
I was recommended by Lucas Ofria, a former colleague, and I’m grateful to him for this opportunity.
What I love most about my job is the dynamic nature of the work — every contract and negotiation is unique. I enjoy using my legal expertise to protect creators and structure deals that set them up for long-term success
What is a unique skill you bring to your role?
I help bridge the gap between legal complexities and the fast-moving creator economy by turning intricate contract terms into clear, practical insights.
My negotiation experience allows me to craft fair agreements that protect creators while building strong, long-term partnerships.
Describe an ‘a-ha’ moment that has shaped your career.
My ‘a-ha’ moment was realizing how fast the creator industry evolves and that legal strategies must adapt just as quickly.
Standard contracts often don’t fit the unique needs of creators, so I learned to approach agreements with flexibility, foresight, and a deep understanding of industry trends.
What productivity hack do you rely on during the busy season?
I follow a ‘do it today, not tomorrow’ mindset. Tackling tasks as they come prevents bottlenecks and last-minute stress.
By staying ahead of deadlines and addressing issues proactively, I can manage a heavy workload without feeling overwhelmed.
What advice would you give to someone entering the creator industry today who wants to stand out and build a successful career?
For anyone entering the creator industry today, my biggest advice is to treat it like a business from day one. Focus on building your brand, engaging authentically with your audience, and diversifying your revenue streams.
Just as importantly, have solid legal advice — understanding contracts, content rights, and brand deal terms can protect your work and set you up for long-term success.
Aside from “giving creators more creative freedom”, what advice would you give brands entering creator partnerships?
A common misconception I’ve seen at TSS is that influencer campaigns are straightforward transactions.
Legally, they require precise contracts, clear usage rights, and strong protections to avoid disputes and ensure fair, long-term partnerships.
How has TSS supported your personal or professional growth?
Even in my short time at TSS, I’ve already grown both professionally and personally.
The fast-paced environment has sharpened my legal and negotiation skills, while the support and collaboration within Business Affairs have helped me quickly adapt and stay ahead of industry trends.
What is your favorite TSS tradition… or any ideas for a new one 😉
A great tradition to start would be an annual on-site team meeting in one of the countries where our team members are based 😅
If you could switch roles with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
I’d switch roles with a Creator Manager for a day to experience firsthand what it’s like to scout and work directly with creators.
What business related thing do you wish you could have tattooed on my forehead (i.e. something you wish everyone knew all the time like CC is not the same as BCC lol)
No info, no deal!
What is an underrated skill for working in business affairs?
Anticipation. In Business Affairs, it’s not just about reviewing what’s in the contract — it’s about foreseeing potential issues before they happen.
What’s the one book, podcast, or resource you’ve found most valuable in shaping you (and/or your career), and why?
I’ll go with The Unbearable Lightness of Being because it captures that constant push and pull between lightness and weight in life. Wanting freedom but also craving meaning, trying to let go but feeling the weight of our choices — it’s a reminder that even the smallest decisions shape who we are.
What is your fav mid-day bev to get you through a long work day?
Definitely mate, Argentina’s classic.
