What made you join the creator industry? Did you always know you wanted to be in it?
I stumbled upon an opportunity to completely switch my career from fashion public relations to accounting back in 2017 and the position just happened to be in the creator industry.
How has TSS changed your perspective on influencer marketing?
I’ve always known that influencer marketing offers some of the best ROI but seeing the growth here at TTS, it has really convinced me that influencer marketing is here to stay.
Describe your journey at TSS in one word and explain why.
Incredible. When I first met with the founders of TSS, I just knew they were different in the best way possible.
Everyday I get to work here, I see their success and humility reflected in the employees, the talents, the clients and just everyone in between that touches TSS.
What made you choose to work at TSS, and what is your favorite part of your job?
Having the opportunity to continue to work with my sister in a professional setting has been one of the best parts of the job.
I also love being surrounded by so many smart and talented women and there’s no shortage of that here at TSS.
What is a unique skill you bring to your role?
I don’t experience stress. I think it’s super easy in this industry to feel overwhelmed and stressed in most situations but I’m very pragmatic when it comes to work and life and I will look for a way forward instead of dwelling in all of the little things that I can’t control.
Describe an ‘a-ha’ moment that has shaped your career.
Realizing that you won’t always love what you do but still showing up to the job you have (as it’s the job you have always dreamed of) — this’ll always make you stand out and will definitely keep you grounded in your goals as well.
What productivity hack do you rely on during the busy season?
The Pomodoro technique.
It’s when you spend 25 minutes working on a task without any distractions and then take a 5 minute break once the 25 minutes are up. It has really helped me stay productive during busy seasons.
Biggest work pet peeve?
My biggest work pet peeve is when people are not kind. Kindness goes such a long way not just at work but in life, too.
How would you describe the TSS culture to someone considering joining?
It’s an exciting place to be. There’s a ton of growth, people are super nice and friendly and you are definitely valued here as an employee.
What is your favorite TSS Team moment?
The growth I have seen month over month has been really cool to witness.
What is your favorite TSS tradition… or any ideas for a new one 😉
I would love to see a book club pop up or a podcast club 🙂
Describe the TSS team in three words!
Dynamic. Focused. Admirable.
What business related thing do you wish you could have tattooed on my forehead (i.e. something you wish everyone knew all the time like CC is not the same as BCC lol)
Haha! Please attach the document when you loop me in. It drops off every time.
What is an underrated skill for working in business affairs?
Level headedness. Remaining calm under pressure when you are responsible for so many moving parts is definitely an underrated skill in the operations field.
Where is your preferred place to work? Desk, Couch, Bed, Coffee Shop?
Desk. I feel like it most resembles a workplace and gives me the most structure.
What is your fav mid-day bev to get you through a long work day?
Triple iced grande vanilla latte from Starbucks. Something about their very mass produced coffee just always hits the spot for me.
What is your best secret talent?
Confidently answering my husband’s questions knowing my answer is absolutely wrong.
Anything else you wish I had asked!!! Say what and answer here!
How many times have I watched The Office in its entirety? At least 26 times.
